Here are a few of our specialized ministries:
The youth group of Liberty Baptist Church is designed to continue the discipleship started in Sunday school and AWANA as young people transition to adulthood. The youth group meets during the Sunday school hour (9:30am) and on Wednesday nights as an integrated part of our AWANA program (6:30pm). The youth worship with the entire congregation at of our regular worship services. We also plan periodic activities outside regular church gatherings for fellowship, edification, and outreach.
We offer Sunday school classes for children of age while parents attend our Bible training. Children up through seniors in high school have age segregated classes where they are taught the scope and sequence of the stories in the Bible with a gospel focus with RBP’s Strong Kids curriculum. The adult Bible training teaches youth and adults through various series on biblical, systematic, historical, and practical theology.
AWANA Clubs is an integral part of our discipleship of children. Because the ultimate prize in studying the Bible is knowing the Bible itself, our AWANA program downplays physical awards to emphasize the spiritual reward of one-to-one reading, memorizing, and learning of Scripture together.
Our ladies’ ministry plans various activities that emphasizes our responsibility to mutually disciple each other. Ladies of all ages are involved in prayer meetings, Bible studies, accountability, and fellowship activities on a regular basis.
High Power Soccer Camp
Instead of vacation Bible school, we annually host High Power Soccer Camp to provide children with quality soccer training that incorporates teamwork and good sportsmanship. Throughout the week campers are taught about God’s love for them through Jesus Christ.
